Construction Crew Accidentally Buries a Man Alive While Paving a Road

A 45-year-old man was accidentally buried alive under a freshly paved road after he apparently fell into a crater in Bhopal, India, according to reports.

The incident would have gone unnoticed had residents not found the man’s arm sticking out from the freshly tarred road, according to The Times of India.

Villagers blocked traffic for the body to be exhumed and the man was pronounced dead.

Two road workers involved in the incident were arrested and booked for negligence leading to death, according to reports.

An investigating officer told The Times of India: “It was dark and there were no warning signs. He would have been walking in an inebriated condition when he fell into the pit between Udlana and Hata village and lost consciousness.”

The officer also said that “workers must not have noticed him while filling the pothole.”

Glad Vegas isn't the only place this stuff happens?

Yes, I am.

Feeling better? We had an odd one last night while you were playing hooky.

I'll have you know, I could have walked out of that ER with a hook, but they were able to save the hand.

Well, that's good considering you didn't need more than four stitches, you big baby.

I told you not to stick your hand in that bag, but you did it anyway.

Which meant, I'm the one who had to take the call about the body wrapped in an octopus in Railroad Lake. My sympathy is running low.

I'll take you to my beer and calamari place, over on Lake Mead.

I've had enough calamari to last me a while.

But I will take the beer.

But, just think of the story you have to tell, next time Linsday has a career day.

I could always distract them by elaborating on my current career.
